Ive spent the past few days @ the Grange, Port Sea where I had my leadership training. It has been an unbelieveable 3 days 2 nights... The people i came in contact with, befriended them and exchanged life stories.. The time spent is almost heavenly. It seems that everyone was there for a purpose, not knowing what the exact purpose was but hey! We got picked to be one of the 40 student leaders. I believe this experience will change my life forever. Kinda change who i am.. Who i will become.. Who i want to be.. In the future that is not so far away..

DAY TWO (23/2/06):
Day Two wasnt so bad. We had more people to come in and talk to us. It was really really nice actually. We had some debated issues like for example the justification of the Iraq war... duh!! Yeah i kinda lag behind the political issues arent i?! So anyways, the dinner party was pretty good. They had a band for us and everything.. TOTALLY awesome!! Of course the party did not end there.. After 11plus, we headed off to a pub nearby... ONLY to find that it has close for the night.. RIGHT!! So the next thing was to go to the nearby pier but then, being the young adults that we are.. Most of us didnt want to appreciate nature & decided to head back to ROOM 108. Hahaha.. Ok i did appreciate the nature ok.. The sea, the stars, the darkness of the night.. Its actually kinda cool & overwhelming. By now, i can see who is drunk n who isnt. The stupid stories or kinda personal stories that they told was pretty amazing.. Hehe.. I ended up sleeping @ 2am. Hahahhaa...

DAY ONE (22/2/06):
Im finally here @ the Grange, Port Sea. So far, ive met a few people that i have an instant connection with. Before meeting any of them, i have been really damn nervous about the whole event. I was thinking abt the RA training that i had just gone thru not too long ago, and the idea of not being able to bond with these people kinda scared me... Who was i gonna talk to for the next few days?! Im messed up.. i know!! So anyways, the day started off real well..

They fed us tonnes of food with morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Im surprised there isnt any supper. Training is so far so good. I love the people here.. They are sooooo damn friendly and the fact that every one of us is so unique in many ways yet we have like a common and mutual feelings and opinions on so many things. I would have to say that i am one of the few odd one out cause i wasnt born here and my experience in Singapore would have been peanuts compared to them. I meant me .. Im still wondering how the hell did i got in?! Its amazing!! One of the best part of this program is the accomodation. Right now, im living in a two-bedroom apartment, with one Australian girl. The apartment is equipped with a washing machine cum dryer, iron, iron board, dining area, living area with 3 couches, a huge TV, patio, kitchen area, high-bar stools, oven, microwave, huge fridge.. ooo did i mention that we got king sized beds... wow!!! i mean.. hey!! im really, really lucky!! All 40 of us actually!!

I experienced my first photo shoot today. They had wanted to capture a few shots of five of us. And apparently i was chosen... hmm.. could it be because i was wearing the headscarf... haha.. its ok.. it was fun anyway!! it was a total blast cause everyone were looking at us as if we were celebrities.. it was sooo cool.. ok i must admit i was totally loving it!! The photographer kept going on "Yeah!! Love the camera!! Aww.. Perfect!! Yeah.. MORE!! MORE!!" Hahaha.. It soooo hilarious!!! Dinner was a very riching experience!!! My highlight was when the Vice-Chancellor sat in front of me and said, "Hi Non! How's it going?!" I was in awe.. Seriously.. I mean.. He is the Vice-Chancellor!! He knew my name & who i was!! I cld practically feel my jaw dropped so low.. Its amazing!!!~www

Yup! The night ended with a party @ someone's apartment and then having a long and "deep" chat with my roommate.. This is gonna be an awesome experience!! I can feel it!!
