I just received an SMS from my kakak angkat from secondary school.. Looks like she's getting engaged on 1st of May 2005 & apparently inviting me to the engagement thingy... WOW!! Unbelievable!! She's like only a year older than me, which makes her 22.. Oh WOW!! Plus today a close fren of mine turns 21.. The first person from our 'gang' to be 21.. ARGH!!! I feel so old!! Wait a minute.. I am old!!! DOUBLE ARGH!!! Seems like yesterday i first stepped into Pasir Ris Secondary School.. 4 years passed.. Got my 'O' Levels & headed on to Singapore Polytechnic for my diploma.. WOW!! 3 years pass & here i am waiting to move on to my next phase of my life... I take a step back & look @ all the things & all the people surrounding me.. I cant believe how much i have achieved all these 20+ years of my life.. The things ive accomplished & the many wonderful & lifetime frens I have made... Yet, i have so much more things to dream about.. Many more things to be done.. Many more frens to be made.. Many, many, many things to learn abt life before my time comes... Its no wonder tat they say the more you grow older, the more mature you become; Having learnt from past experiences & that of others... *sigh*
